I get half of my SET! With these two presentations today, i could reshape accurate 20 new miniatures.
Devo dizer que estou muito satisfeito pois foi um trabalho muito dificil. Não foi fácil e na real foi até exaustivo. Teve momentos de frustração, e de grande desapontamento, mas todos compensados pela alegria de ver os trabalhos concluidos.
I must say I am very happy because it was a very difficult job. It was not easy and went into real depth. There were moments of frustration, and great disappointment, but all offset by the joy of seeing the work completed.
Mal posso esperar para iniciar a partir da próxima semana o caminho para a fase final do meu SET. Se minha contas estiverem certas, devo concluir todo o set dentro dos próximos 4 meses. Foram quase 110 dias de trabalho para a conclusão da primeira etapa.
Can not wait to start from next week the way to the final stage of my SET. If my accounts are correct, I must conclude the whole set within the next four months. There were nearly 110 working days to complete the first step of this entire set.

Primeira apresentação será a de Athrogate.
First presentation: Athrogate.
Este anão é um anti-herói, bem nos moldes de Artemis Entreri, aliás foi sendo coadjuvante deste vilão que o anão deu as caras a primeira vez no romance: Promise of the With King de R.A. Salvatore. E após o anão seguiu fazendo aparições nos livros do autor.
This dwarf is an anti-hero, much along the lines of Artemis, by the way was being supportive of this villain that the dwarf showed up the first time in the novel: Promise Witch King of the RA Salvatore. And the dwarf followed after making appearances in the books of the author.
Athrogate é um anão de grande renome na região das Terras da Pedra Sangrenta, e um membro da Cidadela dos Assassinos. Sua principal caracteristica é que ele combate com duas maças-estrela enormes presas a correntes de adamante chamadas de : Corroie e Destroi.
Athrogate is a dwarf of great renown in the region of the BloodStone Lands, and a member of the Citadel of the Assassins. Its main characteristic is that he fights with two morningstar with long adamantine chains called: Cracker and Hacker.
Corroi age especialmente bem sobre o metal, dissolvendo o mesmo quando o toca, e Destrói age como se tivesse sobre si as propriedade de Óleo do Impacto.
Cracker works especially well on corrodes the metal, dissolving it when it touch metal, and Destroy act as if the property itself with Oil of Impact.
Para dar vida a nosso anti herói, precisei de apenas duas miniaturas: Bugbear Gang Leader e Dwarf Battlerager. Eu no entanto acabei poupando desta vez. Se você quiser fazer um Athrogate perfeito vai no entanto precisar de 2 Bugbears. Isto porque as duas maças do herói são identicas.
To give life to our anti-hero, needed just two miniatures: Bugbear Gang Leader and Dwarf Battlerage. I however ended up saving this time. If you want to make a perfect Athrogate you will however need two bugbears. This is because the two maces needs to look identical on the hero.

Nela como vocês podem ver não aparecem as correntes de adamante que estão escondidas dentro da maça, eu optei por esta visualização.
As you can see it does not appear the adamantine chains that are hidden inside the morningstars, I chose this view.

Como vocês podem ver foi relativamente simples refazer este anão. Primeira coisa foi baixar os braços para uma posição mais próxima a cintura e então apresentar as armas a frente. Também repintei a peça, tirando o tom de couro de suas vestes e projetanto mais como armadura.
As you can see it was relatively simple remake this dwarf. First thing was to lower the arms to a position closer to the waist and then submit the arms forward. We also repainted the piece, taking the tone of his garments, leather and projecting more like a true metal armor.

A última peça desta primeira faze, venho na inspiração que a própria miniatura exerceu sobre mim. Sempre que eu observava Djinn Stormsword eu sempre dizia: "Esse cara parece ser uma criatura áquatica saltando do mar."

Eu lembro de apenas 2 vezes ter usado sereias em minha sessão de RPG e todas foram na segunda edição. Na ocasião o povo marinho como era chamado, se dividia entre homens e mulheres e possuiam organizações interessantes. A cada tantos membros, havia um shaman, a cada tantos um lider e por ai vai. Nunca houve uma menção a quem governava estas criaturas, mas observando como funcionava a sociedade dos Sahuagins, criaturas malévolas áquaticas, resolvi pegar emprestado um pouco do descritivo deles para moldar minha próxima miniatura.
I remember only two occasions that i have used mermen in my RPG session and all were in the second edition. On this occasion, the seafaring people as it was called, was divided between men and women possessed interesting organizations. Every so many members, there was a shaman, every so many a leader and so on. There was never a mention of who governed these creatures, but watching how the society worked on Sahuagins, malevolent creatures waterfowl, i decided to borrow a little of the description of them to cast my next miniature.
O Principe Marinho seria o segundo no escalão hierarquico de uma comunidade de Sereia, Abaixo apenas do Rei e da Rainha. E já que estamos na semana onde um principe verdadeiro acaba de se casar, vamos fechar minha coleção com minha própria versão de um principe.
The Marine Prince would be the second hierarchical level of a community of Mermen, just below the King and Queen. And since we are in a week where a true Prince just got married, we'll close out my collection with my own version of a prince.
Para criar o Principe Marinho eu usei duas criaturas, uma delas como já devem ter percebido é o Djinn Stormsword, a outra é o Aboleth. Eu precisei fazer várias adequações para deixar o corpo do jeito que eu queria. Também peguei emprestado uma lança de uma miniatura de Heroscape para dar ao principe seu arpão.
To create the Marine (or Merman) Prince I used two creatures, one of them as you have noticed is the Djinn Stormsword, the other is the Aboleth. I had to make several adjustments to leave the body the way I wanted. Also borrowed a spear from a Heroscape miniature to give the prince his harpoon.

Segue agora nossa alteza em imagens solo. Apenas uma observação rápida. Notem que eu reposicionei os braços do principe. E o interessante é que eu usei as barbatanas do Aboleth para serem usadas nos ombros do principe. Deu um toque bem interessante e me resolveu o problema de ter que encaixar algo no local onde ficavam os braços antigos. Também repintei a gosma da base do Aboleth para algo mais "marinho".
Here now our highness in solo images. Just a quick note. Notice I repositioned the arms of the prince. And the interesting thing is that I used the fins of Aboleth to be used on the shoulders of the prince. He gave a very interesting touch and I solved the problem of having to fit something in place where the arms were old. Also repainted the base of the goo for something more "marine".
