Lanceiro Draconauto (Dragonborn Spearfighter)

Neste final de semana tive aniversário da minha filha, foi bem corrido no geral, mas ganhei uma folga no sabado. Pois teve uma festa apenas para crianças, e acabei com a tarde livre. Aproveitei para olhar um bom filme e ir montando minha próxima mini do meu set.

On this weekend we have my oldest daughter birthday, it was real busy, but i get a break on saturday, cause the afternoon was to a kid´s party, and with this i get a free time. I took the free time to watch a good movie and also build the next creature from my set.

Chegou finalmente a vez de fazer o Lanceiro Draconauto. Para fazer esta mini você precisa apenas de duas miniaturas comuns. O Dark Talon Champion e o Phalanx Soldier.

Finaly came the time to do the Dragonborn Spearfighter came to "life". To build this creature you need only 2 comonn DD miniatures. The Dark Talon Champion and the Phalanx Soldier.

O mais bacana destas duas miniaturas é que ambam estão direcionadas para o mesmo lado, facilitando um monte o trabalho de montagem, que se resume basicamente a isto: remover a cabeça e o joelho para baixo do phalanx soldier. Depois cortar a cabeça do Dark Talon champion e a metade de suas pernas e encaixar elas no local. Eu separei a perna da cauda do Dark Talon. Ficou mais fácil de montar a posição no corpo do Phalanx. Após cortei a cauda e fui encaixando no corpo novo. É necessário fazer alguns preenchimentos para que o ventre fique adequado. É um pouco complicado porque as peças ficam pequenas mas com paciencia o resultado fica ótimo.

The coolest of this two miniatures, are that both are positioned to the same side, this makes the assembly work a lot of easy. It resumes to a: remove the head and the legs (knee down) from Phalanx Soldier, and then get the same part from Dark Talon to replace the phalanx removed ones. I have also separated the tail from the leg of Talon Champion at the moment I build. This is easy to put the new members at the right position. After i cut the tail and then start a litle cautions work to put it on its position. You will need to make some emends to do the fill of the creature´s belly. It is a litle complicate cause the peaces will be real small, but with a litle patience the work will looks great.

Para finalizar meu draconauto, dei umas pinceladas na armadura em tons de dourado e outros retoques que acabei gostanto. Seguem abaixo as habituais imagens comparativas com as miniaturas originais e a nova criatura.

To end the dragonborn, i give him a new paint job on its new amor, doing gold, and another touches that pleased me. Now follow the usual images comparing the new creature with the original ones.

O draconauto foi muito fácil de fazer. Em no máximo umas duas horas a montagem esta concluida, a pintura pode sim render um pouco mais de trabalho, mas se você quiser pode optar pelas cores originais que também ficam muito boas.

In general it was easy to do the new dragonborn. I think you will need only twor hours to do this job, of corse the paint job can take a litle longer, but if you wish you can choose to let the original color of the armor, who is real nice too.

O Draconauto acabou agregando exatamente as medidas das duas minis que o originaram. Ficou com a altura e profundidade do Talon e o comprimento do phalanx.

The new dragonborn has endend with the exact measures from the two that rise it. It got the height and depth from Talon and length of a phalanx.
